After trying to commit the mess I had for code into CVS the other day.  I performed a checkout from CVS to test out my new build environment on my new machine.  The code wouldn’t compile.  I found out after checking on my mac that the code should compile.  This left me with a problem.  I decided to copy the files over from my mac on a usb stick and see if they would commit fine using Tortoise CVS on my new machine.  It worked like a charm.  I am really starting to like Tortoise CVS.  I am more impressed with it every time I use it.  I don’t know how well it works for complex projects, but it works great for me.

I am now planning on spending the next hour or so with the code and refamiliarizing myself with it.  I need to look what I have in there for TODOs and perform any more cleanup that may be needed.  I may even release the whole mess that is currently there at the moment as 0.8, but only if it is mostly functional.  I may just call it an experimental build and see what happens.
